Competitions provide meaningful opportunities to test my abilities and adaptability in solving problems under pressure. These experiences foster resilience, sharpen my competitive spirit, and strengthen my mental discipline. They also enable me to transform setbacks into valuable lessons, using each challenge as a stepping stone toward growth and excellence.

AI ROBOTICS WORLD COMPETITION
HOUSTON, TEXAS
JUNE 2024

WON 4TH PLACE

At the 2024 VEX AI World Championship in Houston, Texas, my team and I earned 4th place among over 40 international teams. This experience was a testament to our dedication and innovation in autonomous robotics.

Competing at this level honed my skills in AI, machine learning, and system integration, reinforcing my passion for technology and problem-solving.

Looking ahead, this accomplishment fuels my ambition to pursue a career in AI and robotics, where I aim to contribute to groundbreaking advancements in autonomous systems.

AI ROBOTICS
INTERNATIONAL OPEN

PASADENA, LOS ANGELES

APRIL 2025

WON BEST AI DESIGN AWARD AND ADVANCED TO WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.

Competing in the VEX AI International Open challenged me to design, build, and program an autonomous robot capable of performing complex tasks.

Working closely with my team, I refined our design through testing, integrating sensors, and optimizing code. Winning the Best AI Design Award and qualifying for the AI World Championship was a proud moment that fueled my ambition to pursue advanced robotics and AI projects.

This experience strengthened my problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation skills, and has inspired me to continue developing solutions that push the boundaries of technology and prepare me for a future in engineering and AI leadership.

ROBOLABS VEX AI COMPETITION
DUBLIN, CALIFORNIA
APRIL 2025

WON THE BEST AI DESIGN AWARD.

Competing in the VEX AI competition was an exciting challenge that pushed me to think creatively and engineer innovative solutions. I worked with my team to design, build, and program an autonomous robot, experimenting with sensors and refining our design through testing and iteration.

Winning the Best Design Award was a proud moment that validated our hard work and inspired me to keep exploring robotics and AI. This experience deepened my passion for engineering and strengthened my ability to collaborate, problem-solve, and stay resilient under pressure.

 

MOUNTAIN BIKING COMPETITION
GRANITE BAY, FOLSOM LAKE
JANUARY 2024

MTB CROSS COUNTRY 6 MILES

Competing in a 6-mile cross-country mountain biking race taught me discipline, resilience, and strategic thinking. I learned how to pace myself over varied terrain, stay focused during challenging climbs, and make quick decisions on technical sections of the trail.

The experience strengthened my perseverance, as I pushed through fatigue to finish strong, and reinforced the importance of preparation, mental toughness, and staying calm under pressure.”

MTB SEA OTTER CLASSIC COMPETITION
MONTEREY, CALIFORNIA 
APRIL 2024

MTB CROSS COUNTRY 3 MILES.

Racing in the 3-mile Sea Otter cross-country event was an exhilarating challenge that pushed me to my limits. I had to stay fearless while confronting unknown terrains, navigating steep climbs, sharp turns, and technical sections, all while making split-second decisions alongside other riders.

This experience taught me adaptability and mental toughness as I pushed through fatigue and uncertainty to cross the finish line. It reinforced the value of preparation, focus, and determination in turning unpredictable challenges into rewarding accomplishments.
