camps / self learning
“Building robots today, imagining tomorrow.”
Camps provide me with valuable opportunities to collaborate, exchange ideas, and apply new knowledge in meaningful ways. I am a self-motivated, independent learner who is deeply curious about how things work and how they can be improved to create better solutions for everyday life.
3D PRINTING WITH BLENDER
ID TECH CAMP
SANTA CLARA UNIVERSITY
JULY 2025
This program allowed me to transform my creative ideas into tangible models using cutting-edge 3D printing technology. I began by learning 3D modeling with Blender, a professional software used in gaming and film, which helped me sketch, design, and refine my projects from scratch. Beyond building technical skills, I developed problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a deeper understanding of the design process as I prepared my models for printing and watched my creations come to life. The experience reinforced my passion for hands-on innovation and strengthened my confidence in turning ideas into reality.

AI ROBOTIC CAMP
MAGIKIDS FREMONT
JUNE 2025
Over 18 hands-on sessions, I had the opportunity to master VEX V5 robotics and foundational AI concepts. I built and wired high-torque robot assemblies, understanding how each component impacted overall performance, and programmed robots using VEXcode while integrating the VEX AI Vision Sensor.
Through these project-based challenges, I learned to design, code, and optimize autonomous behaviors, pushing myself to solve problems creatively and efficiently.
The Robot Build & Hardware Labs helped me develop hands-on technical skills, while the AI & Coding Workshops strengthened my ability to think critically, make decisions under pressure, and collaborate effectively with my teammates.
SPACE CAMP ROBOTICS
US SPACE AND ROCKET CENTER
HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA
JUNE 2024
At this camp, I collaborated with my team named team lever to design, build, and test our own creations across air, land, and sea challenges.
Activities
-
Learned engineering, programming and wireless control concepts using VEX Robotics technology.
-
Place these concepts to the test as we design, build, program and test land-based robots to compete on the Challenge Table.
-
We used series circuits to build your own LED flashlight that we took home.
-
Created and piloted underwater robots.
-
Trained in the art of flying Unmanned Aerial Systems using RealFlight drone simulations.

WOODWORKING CAMP
YOUNG BUILDERS, PALO ALTO
2020-2023
Woodworking has helped me develop a wide range of practical and cognitive skills. Measuring and planning each step strengthened my mathematical thinking, while solving structural issues taught me to approach problems like an engineer.
Working with raw wood encouraged creativity and the ability to translate ideas into tangible projects. The process required patience, precision, and sustained focus, as I followed detailed measurements and used tools safely.
Through these experiences, I gained fine motor skills, respect for craftsmanship, and a deeper appreciation for creating functional designs through careful planning and execution.
